LifeWave is focused on the health and wellness industry. They generate between $5-$10 million dollars per year in sales in over 100 countries around the world and are a member of the Direct Sellers Association.
LifeWave has been around since 2004 and was started up by David Schmidt. Schmidt has over 25 years of experience in business and product development. They are based out of California.
The main focus of LifeWave's product line are a variety of patches worn on the skin that they claim stimulates acupuncture points which helps send energy throughout the body.
Apparently, these patches have been clinically tested in over 60 studies and are supposed to give the wearer immediate relief from pain. They are also supposed to increase energy levels, have anti-aging benefits, provide better sleep and help you to lose weight.
LifeWave also offers a nutritional supplement system, a homeopathic product line and something that is supposed to minimalize the dangers of radiation when you use your cell phone.
You can earn money when you become an affiliate of LifeWave in two ways, either through recruiting other members, or through the purchase of LifeWave products.
Commissions are paid on a weekly basis using a binary. They also have bonuses which are unilevel based, plus Wave Bonuses and Commission Bonuses.
When you get a non-member to purchase LifeWave products at retail cost, they will pay you the difference between the wholesale and retail prices.
They also pays $20 to the distributors for every package that is sold automatically through their website.
The company provides support for its new distributors through webinars, upline sponsors, sales scripts and product training calls.
The fact that LifeWave has been around for over 11 years shows that they are obviously doing something right. Their sales figures are impressive and they have been publicly endorsed by a number of celebrities and athletes alike.
They offer a 30 day money back guarantee. However, they recommend that you should use the products for at least 90 days before you decide how well they work for you.
All of this company's nutritional supplements have no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. They are also stimulant-free and gluten-free.
Yet while these are obviously important and healthy facts to consider, they strongly suggest you talk with your doctor before starting them and they haven't been tested on children.
One of their products, “Theta One” apparently causes detox symptoms and some people report of having a colon cleanse after starting it. Some users report of having nausea, fatigue and headaches, but these symptoms are supposed to go away after a few days.
LifeWave is not a member of the BBB, and it's difficult to find actual customer reviews regarding their products. This makes it difficult to get a true sense of the reliability of the company.
In order to become a Distributor, you must be ready to invest anywhere between $25 and almost $1,600, depending on which start up kit you choose.
You need to be able to recruit at least 125 new members per month in order to make $2,500. Personally, I think this is a pretty high number to achieve on a regular basis, but I guess it depends on what your individual goals are.
I have never heard of this company prior to writing this article. Some of their products seem like they could provide health benefits for the user, but they also seem a little sketchy at the same time.
After all, a patch can't possibly provide the same stimulation as traditional acupuncture procedures.
I am also a little concerned that they haven't been rated by, or are members of the Better Business Bureau after over 11 years. The fact that user reviews are hard to find also seems odd to me.
As with any MLM opportunity, it is strongly advised to do your own research before investing your hard earned money.
As I mentioned before, it depends on what your goals are and what you are prepared to do to reach them.
I feel it would be extremely difficult to make money on a long-term basis through becoming an affiliate of LifeWave however.
